Thanks again for your advice. However, a four-speed, automatic transmission with overdrive is an option for all trims. The extended cab has rear headroom of 37. I read somewhere that you have to loosen the entire crossmember and place a jack somewhere under the transmission to get it off. Also, the truck does take the shallow pan filter.
