I got the repair done for 491. Fuel gauge had been inaccurate since day one - thought this was my solution to the problem. Came to a complete stop and it went past 0 as if I turned the car off and did not move for about 3 minutes after going. Your good work and very reasonable price is enough to convince anyone that you can save them money and time over any dealership. Which is everything recommended by our dealer. Drive it until you get to that mileage you set with Summit and put it in. Best thing I did replacing old one.
The contact called the manufacturer who took a complaint but offered no further assistance. Took it to our dealer and they replaced the ipc and it did not fix the problem, after we got the Tahoe back we started having problems with the cruise control as well. What kind of Friendly service is that? I'm stuck, any help please!!!! While driving approximately 57 mph on normal road conditions the speed odometer displayed inaccurate readings. Did not fix problem with fuel gauge. I've had the truck for 2 months now.
The failure mileage was 8,000 and the current mileage was 12,000. Now my air only works on 5. The failure mileage was approximately 77,000. Customer responsible for return shipping on core items. It happened when my vehicle reach around 80,000 miles. Valid on orders shipped in the contiguous United States. I took it in because it was under warranty, and they said it was some sort of air fluctuator. Engine hours is not needed to order but if you supply this to Dorman they will apply it to the cluster. Speedometer doesnt work ,stock to 120 mph.

It is not only Chevrolet vehicles got issues but the customer service really sucks.
I was told by gm to get it fixed by a authorized dealer. Sometimes it reads I'm going 110mph and really going around 30mph. It is nice to have all the lights and gauges on the cluster working. You can receive a refund by returning a suitable old core. I was going 45mph and the speedometer said I was going 20 then went to 30 and just stopped.
The contact exceeded the extended warranty and the dealer will not repair the instrument cluster under the warranty; however, the manufacturer should be responsible for the repairs since this was a known safety issue. Then the speedometer stopped working all together. At the time of the complaint, the fuel gauge and tachometer were not working at all. All my family members own Chevrolet. The cluster comes programmed , so it is simply plug and play. The oil pressure is also affected by dropping to almost zero.

I read of similar complaints on AutoBeef and saw what I hoped was a solution. I thought that maybe because it was really cold was the reason for this. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the instrument cluster needed to be replaced. I found the part brand-new on ebay for 200 dollars but this is ridiculous especially if this many people are having the same problem. At one point it said I was going 130 mph when I was parked.
