Radiator required removal to facilitate new drain plug replacement. There was also an oil leak from the valve cover gasket that was also replaced. Had to be towed in. Piston rings were replaced under Acura extended warranty. I just thought they would solve my rattle which at this point really can only be the starter. The car was checked, but the symptoms were not observed and no cause could be determined.

It was quite easy to change out and now the car runs perfect. An economical four-cylinder engine delivers responsive performance, the front seats are excellent and the interior is well appointed. You could also try calling Honda corporate customer service to see if they have anything to say about it.
I assumed it was the timing sensor, I took the car in and the mechanic said the oil pan was dry and that the timing chain was stretched and time tensioner was shot as well and the cam for the valves were bent. To them, that still means the motor is tight. Also had the oil pressure switch replaced as oil was leaking from the switch. I said in this thread that I was pretty sure I didn't mess anything up. Honda's numbers for this recall are O07, Y0A, N06, G05, M04, Y01, and O09.
The manufacturer has mailed an interim notification, and will send a second notification when parts are available. Dealer blamed water sprinkler + local hard water. Mechanic discovered a worn wheel bearing as well. Marking it will ensure you do it the correct amount. The problem was a loose exhaust shield; tightening the shield corrected the problem. Nothing serious, but the dealer installed a new gasket and torqued to spec.
Replaced the battery after 1 month of use several times, replaced spark plugs before needed. Hired a lemon law attorney. Ends up the starter was bad. Note the warranty is for 72K. Parts and labor covered by remaining new car warranty.

Radiator will be replaced soon on separate repair. This seems to remedy the situation, might be a reasonable solution since this apparently only happens in fairly cold weather. Untill they have an updated part you will probably just be wasting your time and money. Compressor locked up damaging other stated parts. Dealer said they could not replicate.
