From the looks of it, it goes toward dipstick tube area. Oh hell you have that extra emissions airpump right? But is there anyway or any resource I can use to find out where all the vacuum hoses go in my engine, specifically the intake manifold and the fuel rail front and back I am kicking butt rebuilding my engine and got some hoses from Pelican parts in order to replace them but I am not sure how they all connect. I have a bit of an updated home-made procedure on what to look for - and where to look for vacuum leaks on the M54 engine. I highly suggest replacing every single vacuum line under the intake manifold, as well as the one way valve 5. I am readily to provide pics of my engine as to get assistance where the vacuum tubes go.
Where in the world did you get this info from. But that eventually blew into dust as well. I'm still trying to see where the other end connects to manifold vacuum. Chisum check the vacuum caps that are on the back of the intake also, they can fail with all the heat that accumulated back there. The Autozone guy said the engine wouldn't run, but it did.
